This weeks ‘This Week on Stadia’ post is much more exciting than the last one. Stadia Pro subscribers have 7 new games too look forward to. Some new titles launch, including Rainbow Six Extraction, MotoGP 21, Fast and Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R, and Trollhunters: Defenders of Arcadia. And have you seen the huge sale list, too?
February’s Stadia Pro Games
February’s Stadia Pro Games are high in quantity and quality. If you’re not a Stadia Pro subscriber, then February would be a good month to give it a go. Not only will you get a tonne of great free games, 4K, and surround sound, but you’ll get access to some insane sale prices – up to 80% off!
So what games are being added to Stadia Pro’s Free Games list in February?
- Cosmic Star Heroine
- Nanotale
- Merek’s Market
- Phogs
- One Hand Clapping
- Life is Strange
- Life is Strange: Before The Storm
Life Is Strange
I’m looking forward to playing through the Telltale-Games-esque games for sure. I started to play the first game a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed the immersive and interesting story. When I heard that Life Is Strange is coming to Stadia I was excited – as I know a lot of us were. But to hear that not just one of them, but both of them are being released straight to Stadia Pro is awesome.

Merek’s Market
I actually paid for Merek’s Market when it first came to Stadia. I thought it looked like a great game so thought it was worth spending the £14.99 to play.
Not gonna lie, I found it boring and returned it within the 2 hour limit.
Don’t get me wrong, Merek’s Market is well made and the voice acting is kinda funny, too. But there simply wasn’t enough to the game as a whole to keep me interested. I guess I was expecting some kind of sim/tycoon-style game where you run a ‘ye olde shoppe’ style store and build your business through a mix of good business decisions and crafting skills. What I got was round after round of make thing, make it again, make another thing, make first thing again – sell, sell, sell – gotta go faster. End of round… Rinse and repeat.
I can see how a lot of people will enjoy this game, but it simply wasn’t fulfilling enough for me.
I wouldn’t have previously suggested to anyone that they should buy Merek’s Market. However, it’s going to be free for Stadia Pro subscribers. So, you’re able to give it a try with nothing to lose. Who knows, you might enjoy it.
The Rest
I haven’t played Phogs, Nanotale, One Hand Clapping, or Cosmic Star Heroine so I look forward to giving them a try.
I am, however, more excited to give Phogs and One Hand Clapping a try. They both look like they could be a lot of fun.
New Stadia Games For February
As mentioned previously Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before The Storm comes to Stadia February 1st.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction – although not really my cup of tea, I’m sure it’ll be somewhat of a crowd pleaser?
Fast and Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R and MotoGP 21 is a great addition to the racing and motorsport genres.
The one that excites me though, is Trollhunters: Defenders of Arcadia
Trollhunters: Defenders of Arcadia
“Jump into the world of Trollhunters as Jim Lake Jr. to stop Porgon the Trickster Troll and his sneaky plans! Team up with Claire in couch co-op and also get a helping hand from lots more loved characters to face unknown evil forces and help stop the Time-pocalypse! – Save the Trollhunter Universe!
– Journey through time to stop Porgon
– Upgrade your Trollhunter
– Gain experience to level up your armor and abilities
– Combine forces with your friends in couch co-op”
Trollhunters: Defenders of Arcadia on Steam (steampowered.com)
Not only has this game got some pretty solid review and scores, but it legitimately looks fun. I haven’t seen the Netflix series that it’s based on. But even though it’s clearly aimed at kids, DreamWorks have always been able to me, and many other adults alike, laugh.
Here’s a game trailer for your enjoyment:
Looks good, doesn’t it?
