Stadia’s This Week on Stadia post (10th November 2021) launches us right in to another free shadow drop for Pro subscribers. Making a total of 5 free games for Pro subscribers this November.
Wavetale, the latest game addition to stadia, is a story-driven action-adventure game.
You play the role of Sigrid, a young girl who befriends a mysterious shadow. This shadow gives Sigrid the power to walk on water. With her new found powers, Sigrid must unravel stories from the past, save the islanders from mysterious monsters of the sea, and discover secrets hidden under the surface.
Speed through the open sea and swing yourself between buildings in this fast-paced adventure. Experience a heart-warming story about loss and reconciliation. Make new acquaintances amongst Strandvilles diverse cast of islanders – from the charmingly cocky surfer girl to an old fisherman turned fashion designer. Change your appearance with collectible hats, hair dyes and outfits. And fill the pages of Sigrid’s scrapbook with special drawings to learn more about her world.
Wavetale is a First To Stadia title. However, the developers, Thunderful Studios (creators of Steamworld series) have confirmed that it will be coming to PC and consoles in 2022.
Just Dance 2022
Just Dance 2022 has hit Stadia. “The ultimate dance game” is back again as a sequel to Just Dance 2021. Boasting 40 hot new tracks, including “Believer” by Imagine Dragons and “Level Up” by Ciara.
Although Just Dance 2021 didn’t really appeal to me, I must admit, as an Imagine Dragons fan, that Just Dance 2022 has piqued my interest somewhat. Thoughts of me and friends dancing drunk around the TV, waving our phones about and choreographing terribly to “Believer” does sound like a real fun idea the more I think about it.
Just Dance 2022 has a Co-op mode and even has eight kid-friendly songs and choreographies available in Kid mode. Now both you and your kids can exercise and have fun together.
Elder Scrolls Online
Google linked to this great video by Bethesda. However, left no further writeup.

More Feature Updates
Google’s final mention on their “This Week on Stadia” post is that they have made some updates and changes to Stadia’s “Explore” tab.
“Explore”, the tab where one can share and view screenshots, 30 second vid captures and State Shares, is now available via the Desktop/Browser app. User’s of iOS have also reported seeing the addition of this feature.
Additionally, the ability to follow “Follow Player” and “Unfollow Game” have been added, too.
I love this feature. I have found it invaluable for expanding my friends list. Using it to send friend requests to people who have shared content for games that I enjoy playing and would like more people to play with.
I really hope that Google expand on it somewhat though as it is still missing some obvious features that the community is crying out for, such as:
- Like/Dislike or;
- Game filter
- Clips longer than 30 seconds
That’s all for now. Please follow us on twitter, and share this website with your friends & family.
